Retired PA State Trooper

I am a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper. I served from

June 22, 1978 until my retirement from Troop "D" Kittanning on January 6, 2001

In the beginning

I was looking for a part-time job where I could earn a couple of thousand dollars per month to supplement my PSP retirement income. I wanted to work my own hours and not report to anyone. Obviously, I would have to work for myself.

I chose the Medicare Insurance industry with exceptional results

A friend of mine was an Independent Insurance Broker. He worked exclusively with Medicare eligible clients who needed Supplemental and Medicare Advantage Plans. This seemed to be a good fit for my goals and lifestyle.

I was told my first step was to obtain a Pennsylvania Health Insurance License.

For the past 17 years, I have been an Independent Insurance Broker selling only these types of plans. (Click here for actual gross income and how it consistently increased).
